If you were to ask me what i am going to be doing with my life in 5 years, I probably could not give you an answer. It's not that I am a loser and see my self going nowhere, but there is just so much that i want to experience before i settle down.
Right now, I am sitting at work bored out my mind and began to think about how my life would pan out in the next couple of years. I don't have an answer.....sadly. Hopefully with my senior year coming up i can decide on a career path and stick with it. For now i am just taking life in stride and happy for now.

chillin
Iam just chillin here at this hookah place in hacienda.it has a wierd vibe to it, I just can't explain it. Its hidden on the side of a building and doesn't look inviting at all. And inside this big room is just a bunch of couches and there is about 8 people in here including devin, evan and I. Kinda sad I think feels like a whack house party cuz everyone is just sitting down while music is playin from BET haha.
Anyway, another uneventful week filled with work and sleep. The past couple of weeks I've been waking up at 1 in the afternon then going to work. I really have no life this summer. But recently I have been going to the gym and lifting some weights. It feels good and provides me with an extra boost of energy. For now I think I found something to do that keeps my attention. Haha I think it will change by next week though.
I think I am going to roger dunn with gerame to look at some golf clubs. I think its cool that some of my friends are actually getting into golf. For the longest time I've had no one to play with. But I guess we will see if he continues it.
we gonna leave and go eat at shakas haha. Be safe
Peace out

Boring
My life has become quite uneventful this summer. I spend most of my days on the couch or on the computer looking up random shit. Oh yeah and work, but its been so slow here because of the heat, shitty course, and expensive green fees, that i am only working 20 hrs a week. I kind of wish i took summer school just to keep me busy, but then i also could not afford the $220/unit. I should enjoy this vacation and get ready for the last year of school. Recoupe my energy and hopefully do well this year and start looking for a decent job. Even though working at a golf course is super easy, i dont want to be here when I'm 25 and still living with my parents. By then i want own my own house and experience many other things. but thats a different story at a later time.
This past week i have started playing poker alot more. I have been logging roughly 1000 hands a day. That's nothing compared to what some of the pros log, but for me its start. Since i am not doing anything else, i figured I'd try and get better at something. I am trying out the poker tracker and so far so good. Hopefully my results continue.
Anyway that's it for now. I will let you know when something exciting happens. (2 weeks vegas lol). peace...

So with the recent vegas trip, I have found a new love. Blackjack or 21 has intrigued me so much that I have been studying the game and can't find myself thinking of anything else. Since my vegas trip a couple of weeks ago, I have been going to commerce strictly to play bj. It seems weird to me because usually I play poker. Poker has been good to me and the game still excites me.but I can get stagnant and mundane at times. With bj I find more overall excitement and a rush when I am at the table.
Commerce has been good to me. Overall I am up with the first trip to commerce put me at +100 the second trip put me at +400. That night was a good one. however I did give some back to the casino with -250. So it has been fun. For the summer I want to focus on the game of bj and see what it does for me.
Been trying to learn basic strategy and so far its paying off. Still got a lot more work to do tho. After basic strategy comes counting, which I have got better at. But I still have a long way to go before I can do it without blinking. Anyway hope summer is going well and be safe...

discipline
So after a long week of having fun from going to vegas to going to sb I have decided that my weight, especially my mid section is beginning to grow.I am staring to get a gut and its not pretty especially with beach season coming up.
So I thought I should cut back on some on the unhealthy junk that I have been eating(chips, fastfood, soda, sweets like chocolate, and eating too late). So for starters I plan to eliminate the soda, which will be a big problem cuz its so good. I guess no more pepsi for me. I usually have a can of soda a day so I just gotta stay discipline and say no.
Next would be the fastfood which is the jack mcdonalds and in n out. I am the worst eater you will find. Fastfood I have at least twice a day just so yummy and quick but I got to make changes or else my body will not like me in 10 years.
Hopefully by doing these 2 things and working out I can get into better shape. Because I don't want to be old and have a beer belly. Its just not cute at all. So helpfully my plan works. So day 1 no soda and fastfood, check!

vegas is fun
Yeaterday night I saw hangover which was a plesant surprise considering that I was not expecting much. But that movie keep me laughing end to end. I think everyone can relate to it, because we all have a few crazy/stupid moments in vegas. One that comes to mind is when my friend drop kicked is own truck and left a big ass dent. Haha anyway after watching the movie my friends and I decided that we wanna go to vegas for a couple of nights. These spontaneuos plans really get me excited and pumped to do whatever.
Hopefully our night in vegas does not end up up like the guys in hangover. Lol
Peace

yesterday
so yesterday was rather long and short at the same time. It started off with work at 5am. It was a rather busy day although it was gloomy and overcast and the tips were not bad etiher. I ended up leaving around 11 and went straight to my moms house in torrance. She wanted to go and exchange her phone since she was having problems with her blacberry storm. I guess it caused her major problems when she went to hawaii for vacation. Always shutting down and battery life wasnt long, also she wasnt able to make phone calls. Maybe it was a defective phone, but the reviews on the phone were not great. Many people cited that alot kinks needed to be worked on such as the ones my mom had to go through.
Since we were at verizon I too got a new phone. We both ended up getting the curve 8300 because of the promotion they were having, buy one bb and get one free of equal or lesser value. Ive never had a bb so i still am getting use to it, but it seems to keep me busy at work haha. The only thing is that i need to start paying my mom the extra 30 bucks a month for the data plan. One more string that my mom is cutting.
After we spent 2 hrs at verizon i met up with some friends and headed to korean bbq. We went to this place called mana in k town. Service sucks but the food is bomb. It was fun, all of us were drinking and laughing throughout lunch/dinner. I had this korean beer called HITE. It taste like bud light but different, i dont know how to explain it. I hate bud light, but this stuff was not bad. I had 2 of the 20 oz bottles and some rounds of Shoju. I think its vodka mixed with pineapple juice, not bad. After a couple of plates of meat, we headed home.
I had to sober up first haha so i stayed at my friends place for a little and went home. I didnt get home till 430 in the afternoon and at this point i was beat. Being up since 430 in the morning and having some drinks(alcohol as makes me sleepy) i just fell asleep until this morning haha. Which was a good 15 hr nap.
On today's events, laker game is tonight. Hopefully they can clean things up and get the win in orlando. Orlando is to dangerous and can get hot at anytime. I will probably miss most of the game because i have basketball game tonight at whittier high school. but i will keep my fingers crossed.
anyway be safe I am so glad summer is here. peace

Oh my does it feel good to be finished with finals! This big huge rock has been lifted from my shoulders and i can finally relax and enjoy life (or at least until grades are posted). But i think i should be fine, nothing spectacular...just solid B's for most of my classes.
Anyway, now that finals are over, i think a few friends and i are going to grab a bite to eat at hooters. Their wings are making my mouthwater as i speak. Wash it down with an Ice cold beer...yummm. It might seem like im alcoholic by drinking in the morning, but who cares. IM OUT OF SCHOOL! hope yall did well on your finals. peace out

finals week
i just realized i have not posted in almost a month. I have been burnt out with school and finals that i have not found time to update.
Anyway, i just took my second final this morning at 7 am. I thought it went well, just a bunch of multiple choice questions. I noticed that when its a multiple choice test, i find myself racing to finish the test first. Maybe its to prove to everyone in the class that i know what im doing, or maybe i just like getting the hell out of there. Whatever the reason i was dissappointed with myself when i was the second one to finish. But she got her test first so it think i would of beat her. lol. I have one more final on friday at 9 am for mhr 318. I need to do really well on this test because the last one i didnt do so hot. I just cant wait for this week to end so i can finally stop stressing out. Finals week always do this to me. I feel a certain level of anxiety in which i never can truly relax even when i am watching tv or trying to sleep.
Summer vacation should be a good one this year, due to the unforunate fact that cpp canceled all of their summer classes. For me personally i was not disappointed, because I was not planning on taking any summer classes, but for many others this really ruins all of thier plans. But their is a bigger concern to look at. With the budget cuts and major hole that california is in, we all have to scarifice something in order to help each other in the long run. What the governer did in the past has to stay in the past, and we have to start looking at what we can do to boost our economy for the future.
With that said, i am looking foward to summer vacation and the many trips i am going to be taking to vegas, since everyone is 21 or has a fake. haha should be a memorable one.
I got to get back to studying so good luck on finals and be safe...

....
So today sucks in a way. My only class from 8-9 was canceled, but i was not informed until i got there. However I was not the only dumbass who did not check their email before coming to class. I could have found a better way to use my time then wasting it driving 20 mins to a class I did not have......(sleep would have been a good one).
Anyway, now that i am over that...i apologize for the lack of updates. I have not been posting as of late because I just not have been feeling life this past week. Beside last monday, i did not go to class last week. The funny thing is that I wake up as if i were getting ready for school but then think to myself "whats the point?", we are not covering anything important. I don't know why I do this to myself but i always manage to feel like this at some point in the quarter. It never fails, and then i find myself scrambling to do well in all my classes. I think it is because i need a spark or some kind of motivation while going though the quarter. After the same schedule for 6 weeks of getting up, going to class, then going to work, and sleep...I really just find myself stuck in a mundane situation and find a need to switch things up a little. Usually this happens by blowing off school...which is never good in a quarter system. you could get away with it in a semester system but i am finding it more difficult to improve my grades with only 3 weeks left then finals.
This is one quality that find to be annoying about myself. The extreme laziness that could hit me anytime just bugs the shit out of me. I could be doing other, more productive things with my time, but instead I always end up telling myself i will do it later and finally the deadline is tomorrow and stress myself out to get things finished. I know everyone has cases of procrastination, but i constantly do it over and over. I am going to try change for the better, and focus on putting more effort in the things i do. I can start by studying for my midterm which is tomorrow for my accounting class. I've known about this midterm since last tuesday, and still can not find it in me to go to class or pick up the book. It looks like i will be in the books all day today, trying to catch up.
So another reason for my lack of effort in school is that I have been playing golf more and more now. I find it enjoyable once again to be out on the course with people I know. I think its because now i actually have people to play with. Before I found it difficult to go to the course because i had no one to talk too and bullshit with. But since i got my new clubs I have made an effort to play more with my co workers and some of the regulars at the course. It is fun to compete against these guys to find out how your game stacks up against others. I am on track to becoming a better player, i think, and hopefully by summer i will able to break par once again.
anyway, there will be more from me later. take care

....
Another hectic week for me with school and work. School has been same stuff, got a few of my test back which I got an A on my accounting midterm and got D on my organizational behavior midterm. Both grades of which i was surprised. I was not expecting an A thought I earned a C+ B-, but i guess staying up late did help some. When I had got my OB midterm back, i found out that i wasnt the only one who failed miserably. The highest grade was an 86/100 and the class average was a C-, but my professor was cool about it and set the test on a curve. I thought this class was going to be breeze, but now I got to put some work because there is only the final left and a big paper. Today I took my management human resources midterm which was not bad. I do not want to jynx myself like i did last time, so i won't say "it was easy". haha will see though.
The other day I went to lunch with Gerame, kyle, and leo at this place called "Stuffed Sandwhich". Supposedly they got the nations largest beer selection at over 700 different kinds from all over the world. Not what i was expecting, its this hidden hole in the wall off of las tunas and walnut grove. The food was pricy for a sandwhich joint, but they do pile the meat on. Overall a so so place to eat.
Last week i started playing golf again. I think the last time I played a round was spring 08. After my golf season at rio hondo, i was burnout and didnt enjoy it anymore. I took it too seriously, which is something you can not do with something thats recreational. But now all of a sudden i started to hit some balls and slowly getting back into it. I am looking foward to playing this weekend at montebello. Haven't woken up before the sun rise to play since I played with my grandpa. It brings back some memories of us hanging out in the summer especially now that he is getting old and is unable to play anymore. Also i just picked up a new set of irons. The victory reds' by nike. Will see how i play on sunday.
Tonight I think of couple of us are going to bar to watch the duck game. Should be fun just to drink and have a good time. I am starting to watch hockey, but still lost most of the time when they call penalties. well thats it for now, gotta get back to work...
take care,
nick

ugh...
I feel as if this week has been really productive. Being at work 36 hours this week has made me realize that I am really lazy person. I feel like I am actually doing some worth while, instead lounging around the house scratching my ass and watching tv.
However, it is hard to go to school full time and work about 30hrs a week. My father has always been telling me about how he'd go to school all day, and then go work at dodger stadium till 2 in the morning. It would always go in one ear and out the other, while im thinking "oh gosh, not this story again." But damn it is exhausting leaving at 6:30 a.m. and then coming home at 8 p.m. All I am saying is that i can not wait for this weekend to come so i can catch up on some sleep.
The other day i was doing laundry and I accidently left my chapstick in my pocket. If you dont know, the oil from the chapstick pretty much ruins all your clothes. It was the cherry chapstick. (i dont know why, but people look at you funny when you pull it out and proceed to apply it) So when i pulled out my clothes from the dryer, they were just covered in red oil stains. Kind of bummed out because i wont have any light clothes to wear. But i guess it does give me an excuse to go shopping.
Tonight should be a chill night. After work I am going to go home and the watch the playoff games on TNT. The bulls/celtics series has been very entertaining, so i dont expect to be dissappointed. I will be rooting for the bulls because of the bet i got with my friend. Nothing big, but I find the game more interesting when you got some money on it (even if its just a couple of dollars).

SF
Hello. Today was rather long and endless. just one of those days when you are going through the motions not really caring much. I almost felt as if I were sleep walking through the day. But my energy level is picking up, maybe becasuse I just ate or I am almost off of work. haha either way I am feeling a little better.
This past weekend I flew to san francisco to play in the NAU north/south championship game for AYE major. I flew up saturday morning with one of my buddies at around noon and got into sf about 1:30. The plane ride was really tense and kind of made me sick. I have this fear of heights which makes me paranoid when i fly or go on rollercoasters or anything of that type. I really have no idea why, but my stomach, lungs, and heart feel like its going to drop to the ground causing me to hyperventilate. Really wierd but thats my reasoning for my sweaty palms in which my buddy was joking with me. After we landed, a couple of us went shopping at union square. We visted THE HUNDREDS which I thought had a much better layout/feeling to it then the one in la. It was noticeable bigger, people were more helplful (but customer service is not real big with these types of stores), and a better selection. Went to huff as well but, was not impressed by it. However, I was surprised to find that downtown sf was much more crowded compared to la. Just gangs and gangs of peopple walking around enjoying the chilly day. Also there were alot of bums/homeless people in dt, it was like starbucks here in la, there was one at every corner. I gave a couple some money to get some food, but i could not do it anymore after walking 3 blocks, it was getting expensive.
Shopping and sight seeing was fun especiallly becasue i have never been to sf, just different from la i guess. Walking back to hotel sucked. It was a 2 mile hike up post street (from union square to hotel kabuki) which wore me out. Got back to the hotel and relaxed/did some studying until dinner. My friends and I went to this japanese restuarant, i dont remember the name of it but it was in the plaza next to our hotel. Eat, had a drink, enough to wind down and hit the sack.
Our basketball game was at the university of sf. A small gym for college hoops, but then again USF is not known for the basketball program. We played a team called Foster City Fylers, they were pretty big guys. There fronline was about 6'2 average, which is above average in NAU. It was tough game....they handled us inside but we managed to run them a little and were up by 1 at the half. All that running in the first half took its toll on us because we only had 7 guys and it was NCAA rules (full stopage). They went on a run in second half and could not manage to take a lead after that. We ended up losing by 4.
After the game we grabbed some lunch and headed over to the airport for our 6:00 flight back to la. about 30 mins before take off i started to get nervous which only increased from there. Craig give me some motion sickness tablets, which surprisingly help alot. My stomach did not drop at all during the flight and i was able to relax a little.
When i got home around 8:45 i finally got to finish my studying for my midterm that was today. Which i think i did ok, probably a B. Tonight will be a good night sleep, however i do have to watch the laker game. Hopefully they can finally close this series out with a good win. Well I am about to leave work now, take it easy.
